[ http://www.300zxclub.com/showthread.php?t=162852&highlight=pcv+reroute ] The oem setup supposedly sends fresh air into the intake valve covers from the intake tubes. Then, the "stale" air leaves the exhaust valve covers, travels through the pcv valves, and enters the plenum. Canyon Carver reversed the flow and sent the fresh air into the exhaust valve covers. Then, stale air leaves the intake valve covers and enters the plenum. The idea is that the longer hose runs from the exhaust valve ports make it more difficult for oil to slosh into the intake. What I can't determine is whether this airflow is necessary for the pcv system to function. If you cap the exhaust valve cover ports and run the intake valve cover ports through a catch can and to the plenum, will the system not work correctly?
